Aadhaar & ABC ID

Aadhaar must be 12 digits. ABC / APAAR ID is also 12 digits (if created).

Submit Only Once

A registration number can be submitted only once — check carefully before submitting.

Print After Submit

After successful submission, print your form and keep it safe.

Correct Date of Birth

Date of birth should match your 10th certificate.

Academic Bank of Credits (ABC), शिक्षा मंत्रालय (MoE) और MeitY की डिजिटल पहल है। विश्वविद्यालय सत्यापन, मार्कशीट और शैक्षणिक रिकॉर्ड के लिए सभी छात्रों का ABC ID बनाना अनिवार्य है।

  • ABC ID आपके शैक्षणिक क्रेडिट डिजिटल रूप से सुरक्षित रखता है।
  • ABC ID विश्वविद्यालय रिकॉर्ड और मार्कशीट में दिखेगा।
  • आधार से जुड़ा मोबाइल नंबर ज़रूरी है।

ABC ID for Students

The Academic Bank of Credits (ABC) is an initiative of the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY) and the Ministry of Education (MoE).

As per the National Education Policy 2020, ABC has been introduced to support academic mobility and credit transfer among Higher Education Institutions.

It is mandatory for all students to generate an ABC ID for academic verification, marksheet integration and University record processing.

  • Stores and transfers your academic credits digitally.
  • Your ABC ID appears in University records and marksheets.
  • An Aadhaar-linked mobile number is required.
  • A DigiLocker account is required.
  • The ABC ID is a unique 12-digit number.
Open DigiLockerVisit digilocker.gov.in or open the DigiLocker app.
Sign in with AadhaarEnter your Aadhaar number and the OTP sent to your mobile.
Search ABC IDType “ABC” or “APAAR” in search and choose Academic Bank of Credits.
Fill the detailsSelect identity type, your institution and admission year.
Note your 12-digit IDEnter the generated ABC ID in the form above.

It says “Registration Number already submitted”

Your form is already saved — you do not need to fill it again. If you did not submit it yourself, contact the college office immediately. / आपका फ़ॉर्म पहले से जमा है; अगर आपने नहीं भरा तो तुरंत कॉलेज से संपर्क करें।

It says “Mobile Number already submitted”

Each mobile number can be used only once. Use your own mobile number, or contact the college office if it is your number. / हर मोबाइल नंबर एक ही बार इस्तेमाल हो सकता है।

I don’t have an ABC / APAAR ID yet

Tick the box “मेरे पास APAAR / ABC ID नहीं है” below the ABC ID field and submit. Create your ABC ID soon using the steps and video on this page. / बॉक्स पर ✔ करें और जल्द ABC ID बनाएं।

I made a mistake after submitting

The form cannot be edited online after submission. Contact the college office with your Registration Number to get it corrected. / जमा करने के बाद सुधार के लिए कॉलेज ऑफ़िस से संपर्क करें।

I forgot to print my form
